where can i find the replacement DVD drive?

I need the replacement DVD drive, my current one Tosh/samsung M25 is dead. Please advie.

Plus what's wrong with the old one and did you get the original bin file?

My original just dead. I was searching on google for replacement drive and i found this forum. I'll try the eBay.

Make sure you do not buy a hitachi drive lower than v40. These drive are not flashable by software. They have to have the tsop desoldered and externally programmed with a v40 or above firmware (since it is incomplete). You can find these drives for extremely cheap but are currently useless unless you know what you are doing.

well i think have found the answer i was looking for that the dvd drives on the 360 are not mated with the motherboard then .
is that correct
as i have two 360s and one the mother board is trashed and the other the dvd drive is knacked so i can just change the roms round yer ?
