Where would I find a guide on hotswapping a xecuter 2.6 if you read my other topic you would understand why. And yes I can google but I want a guide thats going to work and me being not to educated with modchips I need something that is very clear and understandable

I don't really think there is a guide for this.


The basic principle is Find a modded xbox that works. Turn it on, VERY VERY carefully remove the modchip with the machine still on. Then again VERY VERY carefully place your chip onto the pin header and use the donor xbox to flash your chip.

Seriously though, it really does sound like you a quite new to all this, for the sake of a few quid could you not buy the programmer or even a new chip. I think it will save you alot of heartache in the long run.
