Where do you guys get your stuff?

I was wondering where most of you guys buy your accessories when they come out like the solderless adapter and the XCP?

Neither one is in stores yet, I'm sure there are places to backorder though. When they hit shelves you can click on any of the Official Xecuter Stores on the left of your screen and they will most likely be there. Again, this is when they are in stock.

I recently (Dec 09), bought a XB360 Elite (Jasper) (mom bought it in Florida *best buy*). I had it modified (here in the Philippines). Until recently all burned games have played fine. Then newer games (i.e.: Mass Effect 2, LFD2, Avatar, Dantes Inferno, Assassins Creed 2) and some others are being read as a "dvd". The place where I modified it said to update the console (to be able to play new wave 4 games). I went to xbox site and got the latest d/l. It worked but the games still don't. Now - after reading a bunch from the forums I'm guessing I need to update my dvd player? which might need to be soldered? Am I correct. If not, please advise.

Also, the place that modified my xbox said there is a new update for the console 0.61 or 061 to play the new games. Is there a new update? Where?

You need to update the firmware on your DVD drive you most likely have iXtreme 1.6 you will need to put 1.61 or LT on the drive.

Or your could just burn a activation iso.

i recomend to flash it to 1.7 instead of the activasion disc!!!

ok...that is what I thought...but what about having to do some sodering to complete the update?

dec 09 you will prob have to solder some.but only way to know for sure is to open your console an dlook at the drive.
