LITEON 9504 where is that lock/unlock manual switch located??

Hi,
Please ihope someone will help me with this.

I bought a Liteon DG-16D4S - Unlocked Replacement PCB from xconsoles to replace my pcb that died after a kamikaze procedure that went wrong.

It says everywhere that there is a manual switch on that new pcb to lock/unlock it but...i just can't find it!
What does it look like and where is it located? Do i have the right pcb replacement board?

I installed it and flashed it the first time without problem. But since i have a problem with the dvd tray not ejecting i wanted to go bak in jungle Flasher and repeat the steps in a more thorough manner but i can't get into vendor mode wathever i try. So i tgink it's that "manual switch" thingy but like i said, i can't locate it.

Please help.

is it white? if so the switch will be obvious - if it's green - it's not a TX replacement PCB, it's just a stock "not locked" 9504 PCB and if you have flashed and locked it, that's it locked permanently I'm afraid untill it is Sputnik'd/Kamikazee'd

It is white.
And thanks to the picture i should be able to locate it tonight when i get home. I am surprised i did not find it actually..

Are you Mr Magoo posting as someone else?

What's worrying is the switch is referenced in the installation tutorial, so can't think how you didn't use it even then.

I really looked for it though..humm...

I'll have a look at it tonight and will post again.

If i do have a weird without the switch one, and have locked it...again...can i use the sputnic probe i bought to unlock it ?

yes i will take a pic. I am at work so first i have to finish and get home. I'll post pics probably tomorrow. I am also in discussion with a vendor from xconsoles. Hopefully they are selling genuine Team Xecutioner pcb replacement...

ok i found the switch. its tiny really. i read the tutorial and followed everything but i can't get into vemdor mode. i tried everything. its a new pcb from xcuter...anuone has an idea? i did read other thread in the forum and tried everything everybody sais to try.

Liteon erase button...

Yes i did many times. With the switch to 0 and to 1 just in case...

JF does not see it at all no matter what i do.

i am in Canada. If you weren't so far from me i would gladly ship it to you for fixing...
Unless i simply send the dvd drive and new board..hummm...
