You have a good point, but if you discuss roms and warez here you put Team Xecuter in legal danger. Just be careful.
no dumbass, its not illegal to put a modchip in your xbox and it never has been, that has been explained to you multiple times as has the fact that discussing the things people keep telling you to stop bein a jackass about is indeed a big deal and against the rules of this forum. furthermore it has also been pointed out to you that it is not unprecedented for a forum to be shut down for this reason as it was done a few years ago. as for your "private server" theory, that alone proves you haven't got the slightest clue what you are talking about, it doesn't matter where the server is or who it belongs to, if m$ decides teamx's site is outta line and wants to bring the law down on them, the server will be traced, located and brought down in a very short period of timeGamer2005 said:lol dude calm down.... jebus what is the deal with people these days... first of all if u take apart ur xbox and put a modchip in it.. that is illegal, and who would buy a mod chip for doing legal stuff with it anyway? not many people man... most people pirate and that is the truth, u people just need to calm down.. its no big deal about discussing roms/ anything on this site... jebus.
IT is ILEGAL to ask for this, unless you are talking about backups of your legally owned games...Gamer2005 said:i have the program for nintendo 64 ... project 64 but where is a good site where to find games/roms at so i can download it and play it.. post the sites that has good roms here... thx Brent
Gamer2005 said:First of all.... KingFool your name explains what u are.. a fool, and yes... breaking into ur xbox is illegal.. second of all Telexen quit being a jackass... your another fool on the internet that thinks u are all big and bad.. why dont u go climb a tree and shove a stick up ur ass.. maybe u will feel better buddy.
Modchips... are not illegal. As the previous user stated... what you do with them makes it illegal. I could have a modchip i n my xbox... I'd show it to bill gates and be proud. It's not the hardware which is illegal.. it's the SOFTWARE. Using the Modchip alone is not illegal.Gamer2005 said:^^^^^^^^^^^^ hey buddy... im not just saying if u just open ur xbox that is illeagal, no i kno that isnt illegal but it voids ur warentee.. i didnt want to type out the examples that are illegal... im saying a mod chip is illegal cuz many people pirate with em.. thats one thing that the mod chip is USED FOR. and what about..... Evo X... hmm thats illegal... and oh i almost forgot!!! bios.... changeing the bios.. is illegal
You guys quit being so gay and just shut up... KK/ THX / BYE OWNED
I kind of disagree with you on that part. If I download a game... Does that deny the authors there income... if I never planned on buying the game? Just like... movies, or mp3s. If I like it, I will get it and play it... If it's unavailable... I'll still get it.... like SNES roms. If they come out with a 2000 SNES rom DVD for Xbox... Damn right I'd buy it... It's supporting the authors that makes them come out with new items. If something... to me is not worth it, I would not buy it... i don't view downloading it, or getting it by other means... as denying the author of their income. Like say.... For instance, TMNT on xbox. I'll play that game maybe once a month... Not to beat it, just.. out of boredom. After 5 minutes, I stop... I wouldnt go out, and pay $50 for that. if I" seen it for $20... I still wouldnt. Hell... I probably wouldn't pay $5... with a modchip or not, So... I don'tsee how I'd be hurting the author, or anyone else by getting it. Like... A trial, or demo. I never purchase a game... untill I play it first. Now... if I went into say.. K-mart, and pocketed the DVD... thats piracyTokenUser said:We live in glasshouses here. We are ALL guilty of illegal activities - but none of those activities deny the original authors of their income. We do not condone piracy which DOES deny the original authors of their income.
I see your point, but as a professional software engineer I can't agree - the fact that you have a copy of that code on your Xbox means it should be paid for. I like the idea of try before you buy - but I do that in the store, or at Blockbuster.Ikarasu said:If I download a game...
