The thread called Cheap HD Prices is probably a good start.

newegg.com, zipzoomfly.com, tigerdirect.com, outpost.com
staples and office depot (when they have specials and rebates).
best buy and circuit city (look for rebates)

overstock.com and ubid.com occassionaly have good deals, but most are refurbs.

Hey,
I use pricewatch myself but as previously stated it's a good idea to check your local retail outlets for discounts and rebates.
I think Circuit City offers products for free if you can find it priced lower elsewhere. This applies to sale prices as well. So it pays to shop around. I think it was Circuit City or was it Best Buy? I can't remember.

Anyway, as always, all hard drives should be checked against this list before purchasing:

Whether you buy a drive that's on this list or not you should always send feedback.

The normal deal is they will match the price found (provided it is from a brick and mortar store locally - but you can sometimes talk your way into having them acknowledge a web price from a national retailer), and then give you an additional 10% discount (off the difference).

So, if Best Buy have HDD for $100, and Circuit City have it for $110, Circuit City will sell it too you for $110 - $10 - (10% x $10) = $99. Catch is the whole B&M criteria, and being able to prove the price. I have taken photos of the price label on the shelf at WalMart on my Clie in the past and used that as proof when purchasing something at Best Buy.
