I got the X3 mod soldered and working. I flashed the new chip and installed Evolution X onto my xbox. I can even FTP to my Xbox to see the contents but I cannot see the contents of my DVD drive. I can even play backup games written to DVD-R disks.

However, researching some information lead me to believe that folder D is the DVD drive. The problem is that Folder C and D are exact copies of each other. Why can't i see the contents on the xbox's DVD drive??

boot your xbox up in to config live by turning on xbox and holding white button you will be able to see your d drive as it should be then with the contents of the disk not a copy of your c drive

conductive glue??

I have been soldering for the MRA hacks, i have been told conductive glue is a good idea. Better than solder?
Does anyone know which glue is best for this job, or are they all about the same? do i just apply the glue and wait overnight for it to dry? and is it easily removed if it goes wrong? just dremil tool to get it off?

Also any ideas when the slim firmware is out yet?

Thank's

Re: conductive glue??

i just use a cocktail stick to put it on.it cleans off easy, takes a few mins to dry(use a hair dryer)the place you bought your probe from will sell it pretty cheap.
be sure to give the bottle a good skake before you use it

Re: conductive glue??

i still think solder is always better though

that stuff won't ever come off, as opposed to glue, which may occasionally

but that's just my opinion
