Hoepfully release it on xodus's 12th day and make em choke!

Well, they released day 10 today ... ummm ... 10 multicoloured led thingies ... a feature EVERYONE had been asking for? How about the ability to play Xbox games?

But, releasing the X3 BIOS on the 12th day is no good. That could be anywhere between now and Christmas 2008.

some people need to chill, and stop expecting stuff by a certain date, Team X are hackers and programmers, if you want an inferior product released before its finished, go buy another chip. stuff gets done when its done, thats just how it is.

I've seen posts like these go backwards and forwards so many times now it's just funny.

If you take the popular notion of the twelve days of Xmas as perpetuated by Hallmark and the television networks in the US, that would have been the 23rd of December. If you take the biblical reference, the twelve days are from the birth of christ through to the day the wise men arrived (Jan 6), which would have made day 10 to be the 4th of January.

For some reason, the posting where I made the point about the 12 days being Xmas to Epiphany over in the xbox-scene forums (or perhaps even the Xodus forums) was deleted ... but it is a fact that Artifex is now quite happy to spout. How strange ...

I also made a comment about where did Xodus actually find three wise men AND a virgin (I imagine they had plenty of virgins on hand, it was just the three wise men they were having a hard time coming up with) ... but I was unable to find that post as well.

I would assume that he is test driving it!!! Its like a brand new car!!! Who wouldn't want to drive it around a little first before making the purchase??? In his case maybe he will drive it for a couple of weeks??? Who knows/cares?? Really, the bios that we have now is just fine and works great!!! I know that there is a great feature to come, but I think that we are all being worse than a 10 year old kid at 7am on christmas morning!!!

Test driving it for a few weeks? I would certainly hope that wouldn't be the case. I am expecting it very soon because of all the flamebait already being posted and the negative response to all of it. Posting that he has it flashed to his chip and its ****ing awesome is teasing us all to the max, lol! It's almost flamebait itself because of the anticipation of so many people on the boards. So to anybody who bitches at anybody for asking about it now, take into consideration the fact that the post is just screaming for people to start asking and making new threads left and right.

No, I am 31 I solder my own gear... I have a 13 yr old daughter and while I resoect her ability and intellect if she ever went near a high dollar piece of equipment like a PC or xbox with an iron I would beat her with it (while at full temp).
