hello, I just purchased a new hdd of 160gb and I am going to take out my 120 and throw the 160 in. I am using and xe 2.6ce chip with the bios 4988.06 installed. I use slayers auto installer to set up the hard drive.

1.)does anybody have info on what bioses support the LBA48?

2.)Can I still use the auto installer to set up the hdd/< or do I have to find something else?:D

Pretty much all of them. You want to use 5035, it is the best bios you will find. Yes, you can still use an auto installer to setup your drive.

I have 4983.67 x2 bios installer and I run the slayers installer and use the hd upgrade for large hdd and it uses F: for all the games and apps g shows up as being hidden and I can transfer games to G: but they will not show up in my games on hdd selection in slayers.

The partitions are

c:5gb accessable
e:5 gb accessable
f:122gb accessable
g:22 gb accessable but will not show up on main screens and nothing reconizes its there unless I transfer to it or look at it in xbmc.

I'll read up on it some more and see what i can find out.

Sounds like your dashboard isn't setup to use the G partition. Look for that option in your settings. Again, I highly suggest you use 5035. The reason you even have a G drive is because you used the .67 version of the bios.
