Which bios version for 1.6 Xbox?

Just completed installing my first mod chip. Got the Flash bios screen up and i am planning to flash over network using http.

I have downloaded the latest bios 1957 and extracted it. I got 2 bin files "X3 1957.bin" and "X3 1957 v16..bin".

My question is, is the "X3 1957 v16..bin" for Xbox versions 1.6?

iprep for 1.61

Is there an iprep that is best or people have had a good experience updating to 1.61 firmware? Jungleflasher is just not working for me. I know my last success a while ago was using iprep. Thank you

Last version of iPrep I used was 8.0. After that, I switched to JF and have had no problems with it...

Are you suggesting to stay with JF? or to give 8.0 a try for firmware 1.61
