which brand of media do i use?

Ok i have used a Ricoh disk in Img BUrn and Clone CD and Backup creator and none of them get past any loading screens. am i using the wrong brand? and if so which is best? (all burned at 2.4x!)

/ugggh there was a post about this only 10 down from here. just take a moment and read the fourms.please use a disk with quality dye such as verbatim disks. they are cheap only $1.25 a disk.
