Ive seen lots of alt. dashboards and they all seem good. Which dash do you guys use and would recommend?

yeah i recommend Avalaunch too, i just switched to it from EvoX and its a lot better. i really like it for the option that lets u play music in the background.
Evo x or Avalaunch. Yeah, I like that you can change the l.e.d. colour with avalaunch and play music in the background, but your not going to be on there for long and evo x has more and better skins. Why not have both?
How do you guys get Evox onto your Xbox....I have been triying (i downloaded M8 bios), but I jsut can't seem to get it on there. Can i use other dashes with the X3 1959 bios or do i have to have Evox on there

The bios and the dashboard are 2 seperate things.
The bios only allows you to place another dash on the hard drive.
Do a search fore boot discs and FTP.

I personally run XBMC as dash, and Ava and EvoX as apps.
The majority of my time on Xbox besides games is spent in XBMC (stream movies, TV, and music from PC).
Ava I use for Game Saves
EvoX I use for trainers

If you are new to this I would recommend EvolutionX, I used it my first time and it would be easier. I recommend using Slayer's auto installer, makes it very simple for your first time. Later I would go with Avalaunch, much better dash, that's what I use. You can find slayers at: http://slayer.xbox-scene.com/
if you plan to FTP a lot of games, go with avalaunch. if you want a dash just because, get evox.
Thats a great idea. When I used XBMC for the first time it blew evo x away! I mean you can do way more. How do you set it as a dash?
I use UnleashX and Avalaunch. Both blow other dashes out of the water on features...UnleashX is a little better looking too
I use evox right now...If you want an easy dash to start with, this would be the one...I would love to use avalaunch, but I can't get the damn dash to work!!!
CAn i use Live Config to FTP EvoX or Ava into my box, i cant find a good tut how to do the other, but if u do post a tut can also answer my first question
Just tell your bios to load the path to your XBMC .xbe... What bios are you running on your 2.3? I may be able to help you out.freakzilla3333 said:
If using X2 4981 open it in XBtool. 4983 does not work in XBtool, but 81 is about the same.
I use both thc and thc lite. but i also evox for ftp. thc works nice as a ms looking replacement. the other dashboards are in a launch menu
i love nexgen, but I like all the options avalaunch has like auto-update and auto skin downloads, evox lacks alot of things
