I have an Xecuter 3 ce chip I followed the instructions on http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/xbins.php but which files should I download for the bios?

Well, normally I would say the latest, such as X3_3294. However, mine only works with 2914 for some reason (-: and no it's not pins 13/14 
. Give 3294 a shot and if doesn't work then try 2914. Also be sure to use the right BIOS file as there are two in each rar. One if for XBOX v1-5, the other is for 1.6+.

Know how to unrar a file. Get WinRAR or similar if you dont have it.
There will be two files when you extract it.
X3_3294.bin (for version 1.0-1.5)
X3_3294_v16plus.bin (for version 1.6) Use this file for flashing.
You might want a dashboard and XBMC.

Either download source from the XBMC website and compile with XDK.
