Hi!
I've been contemplating trying to jtag an xbox...but I don't know a whole ton about it as of yet. What is a good kit for me to buy? A link or two would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks :)

You would need a NAND-X plus all the extra stuff to update it. Or a Xilinx LPT cable. Personally, I have the LPT cable to program the Coolrunner and its instant basically since you are only writing a very tiny instruction set to the chip. Then you would need a Xecuter Coolrunner and some soldering skills to get working. But you'll need to solder on the LPT nand connections again for the ECC files to be written and the freeboot to be written so you might as well get a fresh nand image from your console before you do anything.

Ok great! thanks for the response....I guess i was thinking ahead when I cut the wires & neatly tucked them away inside the xbox:p Now I don't have to resolder....;) Had a gut feeling i would be digging around in there again.

You won't have to keep your wires in there after you install your RGH mod completely. Once you have it up and running you can easily read and write to your nand via Flash360.
