Which Samsung is better...MS25 or MS28 ?

My Hitachi drive is not working because of laser/motor/whatever issues. I have read numerous posts of the same/similar problems with Hitachi drives, even for people that use Verbatim media. So I have decided to buy a Samsung drive to replace my Hitachi. With that said, I would like to know which one I should get between the MS25 and MS28. Ease of flashing would be nice but it's not the most important factor. Mostly, I would like to know if one is better than the other when it comes to laser quality/durability. I would also like to know if one supports a more stable/functional firmware. Finally, if you know where I can get one of these, please let me know. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Both drives are as good as each other in terms of flashing depending on what chipset you have you would need a VIA chipset for the MS28.

just do a search with google there are a few sites that sell them

Thanks. What about laser quality/durability? I've seen several posts about people having to use the rubberband method on MS25 drives because of laser movement, but have not seen any for MS28. Is the whole reading mechanism (laser quality /laser movement) better in the MS28? What about firmware support ?

firmware support is the same for both drives ( xtreme 5.2 ) this has all but stopped the need for the rubberband method

They are the same exact drives. Zero differences physically. The only difference is the firmware and the PCB being covered in epoxy.
