I recently ran out of my 0.7 Rosin core wire and went to Maplin Electronics for an alternative in the mean time until i get another batch of Rosin core. They stated that the Lead Free silver solder would do the job...but it really does not do the job, It's hard to place, doesn't adjust to the temperature of the pad or iron for that matter. Plus too thick.
Just wondering what solder wire you guys use or any recommendations rather than the standard i used. Definitely not lead-free, i am avoiding that from now on
