Hi there.

I am trying to put my Hitachi drive with firmware revision 78 into mode B via the Slax 2.0 Alpha 1 DVD. However, when I try to boot it up I get white artifacts on my PC monitor. I have grounded the cases together, and I have it the drive powered up from the Xbox and a SATA cable connecting it to the PC.

When I disconnect the XBox the issue disappears. What could provoke this?

Thank you.

from what you wrote it sounds like the chipset on your motherboard for your pc doesnt like the xbox dvd drive so locks up. there are add-on cards you can buy for your pc that are compatible with xbox dvd drives. also you might want to browse the forum some more as im sure there are fixes for your type of trouble. keep looking pal you will find the solution.

I've been trying to Google any issues with my Intel P35, but I can't seem to find anything on the topic.

Could you tell me whether it would help if I used the CK3 Mini?
