Ok big problem here. After attempting to flash a 1mb bios with a 256k bank(off off on off off), it screwed up my 3rd bank and it wont boot FlashBIOS anymore. After figuring out what the switch settings are i turned it to off on off off off for a 1mb bank to flash the newest bios. But it didnt boot, the xbox turned on then off, then on again, then off, then on AGAIN and then gave me a error light with no video output. I pretty sure that this has to do with my attempt to flash a 1mb bios to a 256k bank(yea yea im dumb). I think clearing the third bank would fix the problem, but im not sure(off off on off off). Any help would be aprreciated greatly!

Thanks
Twist

BTW, my 1959bios still work and i still have FTP access.

If you can ftp, stick the bios you want to flash in the C drive bios folder. Press start and eject, choose flasf from hdd. you should see the bios that you added. Choose it with the banks set to a 1mb bank. on on off off off or, off on off off off.

i accidentally tried flahing a bios on off off on off when i should have flashed it on on off off. it froze half way in the middle and so i booted it back up to the flash bios screen and flashed it on on off off. but all it does is turn on and off flash green and red with no av out put. What might be the problem? or how to fix? Am i flashing the right bios? If im running X3 on a 1.6 do i rename the X3_3294 to bios.bin or X3 3294 v16plus.bin to bios.bin. I renamed X3_3294 to bios.bin when i did my 1.6 xbox.

Can the X3 3294 bios be resized to say 512k instead of 1024...I ask because i know some bioses cannot be made any smaller...
