Why av gnd instead of j2b1 gnd?

When soldering the cr, why does the tutorial state to not use the j2b1 qsb ground (i.e. j2b1.12) and only use the av ground (I.e. chassis ground)?

that point requires more heat and can be difficult for low wattage irons to get on and the av port is easy, i use it for my nandx wires too

Exactly this, it is a lot easier to use the chassis instead.

It's also one less point to screw up.

If you can't solder to a metal AV chassis, put the soldering iron away.....
