Why cant I find a BIOS for my Xecuter 2.6?

Hey Guys,

I have searched high and low, even in the forums here and I can NOT find anyone who is offering a BIOS for my Xecuter 2.6...

Where did they all go?

Can someone post a link or email me the actually BIOS files - I would be sooo greateful.

FYI - I have the BIOS version 4981 - but everyone is telling me to use version 5xxx - is that true or can I use the 4981??

God please help me - Im trying to do this in time for my nephews B-Day...

What version xbox do you have?

Its a 1.6

You cannot use 4981 on a 1.6. The latest version is 5035, and you can download it from xbins. www.xbox-scene.com/articles/xbins.php. That will tell you how to download the bios. After you extract it, be sure you use the one for a 1.6 Xbox. And read the readme file.

If after reading through the xbox-scene tutorial listed above you're still having difficulty getting to the BIOS, check out the "auto tool" that was put together. Xecuter dropped this thread in the X2CL forums.

And read that readme file! If you're really up on measuring twice and cutting once, I would recommend you check out the X2CL forums first. Keep yourself out of the pitfalls others have hit because they jumped in too quick.

Thanks guys - this is all good info - but for some reason I cant seem to find #XBINS in mIRC...

Can anyone just email me the .rar or .zip files needed for this version 5035 BIOS?
