GENERAL Why do my discs keep spinning after installing a game?

I install the game to my hardrive and on original disc it quits spinning after the game starts. On my backup, it continues spinning then this leads to some parts of the game not loading and displaying "disc unreadable". Dont get me wrong it boots the game and stuff but i would like it to quit spinning so i can actually play my backups without error

*yes, i tryed installing original and backup on hardrive.

I have a PCB 1.1 replacement for slim lite-on drives.

Lol .... As Martin says there must be something wrong with your xbox then :biggrin: as every one i have ever seen the disk is always spinning, just spins faster when the game is running.

Ill make a video, i have plenty of xboxs to prove they quit spinning after the game is LAUNCHED (spins for 10 secondes then stops) and only if you have INSTALLED the game onto your hardrive.

what media are you using to make your back ups, if its sh*t quality, there's your answer or poor burns

You have a serious problem of not reading.

Put the original PCB back.

Install a game from original disc.

Report back what happens.

Sounds like TRUNCATED burn. Truncated = Not burned all the way to the edge of the disk, causing you to lose a very small part of the burn which is trash, but needs to be there in order to be verified by your xbox 360 dvd drive.

Try a full burn with an IHas124b burner with custom firware. Many IHas models with CF can do this.

Ok, i know alot pf you guys are not call of duty fans but it is Call of duty Modern warfare 2. Im only haveing the problem on this game so i do not think it is my PCB (if you still thik it is after knowing that i will still try). I am not asked to preform a Truecant burn in img (i think thats how u speell it) in imgburner. I also got the iso from a original bakup of my game and had no problems

I asked you to try the original PCB and the original game.

If you want help, don't post anything more on this until you've done it. Anything else is just wasting time.
