ANSWERED Why do people flash their drives when they already have RGH?

This is something I've wondered. If you can boot unsigned code with the rgh and pretty much run all your games off an external hdd why bother with flashing the drive as well?

you don't need to but some people like to or already have them flashed

of course you can always transfer your original games to the HDD through freestyle dash with a stock drive

Can't have your cake and eat it to when it comes to using backup disks on a glitched system. You have to have a flashed drive for that. :p

Not if you're on a slim. I didnt bother with flashing, didnt want to purchase the PCB or take my XPR 400 to the chip :)

its a easier option if you have a flashed drive ifyou borrow of a friend a chipped game you can play it but safe wise i would backing it up but in my case i prefer the hdd method:)

What is the largest game disc at the moment? Does it fit on DVD+R DL without overburning if you extract the .iso image and burn game files only?
