Wow, and I was taught there were no such things as a dumb question.... Looks like I was wrong, but learning something new everyday still holds up.

4 me anything over 3 cycles is too long...it's all about performance, reliability and consistency I think. The closer it boots like stock the better.
That's why I send my boards to nofel.

Yes, you prefer instant boot. If it didn't boot instantly, you would be upset, or bothered, wondering WTF?
People who prefer "instant" are people who want "instant" gratification...It's like people who want to lose weight. they want to lose it now, not later

You either have patience or you don't

When you want something instant, that would be considered impatient IMO

People prefer things for a reason. To prefer things to the way you want it. Wanting it now, is a characteristic of impatience

So yes, it does have something to do with impatience or instant gratification. If it doesn't, boot time wouldn't matter
Again, i'd be more concerned about it booting to dashboard vs not booting at all
