Guys I am at my wits end. My niece is expecting me to hook her up with new games and I am looking pretty stupid. Here is my entire process of what I've done, and what has not worked. If anyone can help me, please please please I am all ears.

Step 1: Went on https://sx.xecuter.com/ and downloaded https://sx.xecuter.com/download/SXOS_beta_v2.9.5.zip
Step 2: Extracted the zip file and uncovered file named "boot.dat"
Step 3: Dragged boot.dat file into 256gb MicroSD
Step 4: Shut the switch off then inserted MicroSD into the Switch
Step 5: Inserted the jig into the right side of the switch, along with the dongle, and held down + and power button at the same time
Step 6: Keep holding, NO BOOTLOADER SCREEN Showing up at all
Step 7: Still have black screen, however the switch if turned on it boots as it would normally.

Like I said, I am desperate. Any information would really help me.

I'll give you the same answer I gave you on reddit - Your switch is patched... There is nothing we can do to help you.

Lets try some simple steps I made. Make sure your sxos device is charged. Then try replacing the sdcard. I ve Lost two of them.

Check first if your switch is vulnerable to fusee gelee. If not theres nothing to be done until sx core is released.

If its vulnerable, then at boot keep pressing vol+ and press the power button once and release it. Only release the vol+ when sx os menu appears.

Sx dongle must be charged. If its not, boot your switch normally and insert the dongle for a few seconds at the switch menu screen to charge it.

If the switch does not boot at all, press power for 15 seconds.

Format sd card using the switch before any file transfers. This ensures working format type.Transfer boot.dat then try startup again. Hold Volume + on top ( not + on right controller) and tap push power button. The switch should show the SX screen then start boot. You can confirm switch is not patched by using TegraRCMsmash and connecting to PC if no boot. It will confirm you are in RCM mode and if exploitable.
