I'll probably get alot of flack for this, but hey, that's the way it goes!
How many people out there after reading the extensive amount of posts are wondering why so many people are having problems with their X3's?
I have a 1.6 Xbox in which I've fitted an X3, pro switch and LCD. Installed all my dash and apps etc etc etc on a new HDD and have a perfectly operating xbox. Sure, I run into issues and a little messing around is required as with most things but this stuff isn't difficult.
(The only issues for me was with an early bios release (now fixed, thanks Team X) and that Flashbios 3.0.3 doesn't work for me beacuse of 1.6 Xbox incompatibility. Both of which was out of my control.)
Read the posts, think stuff through first. Read soldering insctructions twice and solder once etc etc.
I am not accusing anyone of being stupid, it's just because this stuff is just new, does not mean it's difficult.
I would be considered a newb (as my member status will show) and I just don't see the same issues as so many people seem to. Just do what you would do when your trying to work on anything technical. Reasearch, read and think.
