Why the HYPE?

Anybody curious to why executer would tell us that new stuff is coming and then never even come close to meeting the committment?

I truy believe it is a marketing ploy to slow you down from buying from the competition.

Remember way back in early December when Executer told us that the BIOS may be out this weekend. This couldn't have been further from the truth because it is not here yet. Executer had us all anticipating new software and then went on holidays and got drunk and laughed at us all. What ever happened to the X3CP? I thought I read that back around 12/20 that it would be shipped to the distributors, it is 1/25 and what do we have? Am I wrong that Executer annouces things and fails to deliver? He would be better served with less drinking and more truth in advertising.

Executer then comes out with a wish list of upcoming features starting in January 2005. Was the server upgrade in that list? heck no.

Bottom line - don't believe anything you read from executer because it is just hype. Xecuter should work on things we need like X3TENDER so we can retain our original harddrives. I bet we here about this soon and can exspect to see it in 2006? 2007?

EXECUTER is NOT A NICE PERSON.

I am just trying to have an intelligent discussion but realize that may not be possible with the current members.

This is not about buying a particular chip vs another, it is about why we are told one thing and then it rarely occurs. Executer should come clean on how she/he can be far off base when announcing products and features.

About three weeks ago we told the new BIOS was almost finished execpt for a memory leak. It was also mentioned that the feature encountering the memory leak would be omitted and rest of the BIOS would be available, including the new feature.

Want to know what the new feature is?

It is an ALL IN ONE DASHBOARD so other dashboards like EVOX are no longer needed.

wow one of the dumbest fuking posts i've ever seen. If you want to hate, make sure you know who your talking to. I don't think i've ever read any posts by a "executer". Look at the damn url at the top of your screen. it says teamXECUTER.

And the latest news on the x3cp was posted RIGHT ON THE FRONT PAGE dated jan. 18th. And you can't even say that xecuter hypes thing up. Look at that 12 days of christmas sh*t for products that are knock offs of what xecuter has already started. I for one am glad he gives us the updates he does and if your whole life depends on the bios release of some modchip just go shoot yourself or jump off a building....

What's a x3tender?? Yea there's nothing called that from what i hear and if you think xecuter talks about how sh*tty the xtender is on design and ease of use why would he call it x3tender...Xecuter has talked about a multiple hdd solution but he never called it the x3tender. And if you know anything you would know that xtender has teamed up with xecuters competitors.

You must be the dumbest guy out of anyone here.....go buy a xenium and play with your crappy led's. Then flash your chip with an x2 bios.

Would you rather have a bios that is buggy and not up to par? Or wait and get the new bios that is good to go as soon as you flash it?

Team Xecuter has always released excellent products, and true some times they have failed to meet some ppl's ideal time frame. And that is way TeamX doesn't like to set release dates. I, for one am happy to wait for the products because I know that it will be worth the wait.

By far the x3 is the best chip around and I did check all the other guys...
I wanted a trouble free chip and X3 delivers that along with a great forum with tons of help.

If you don't like your chip, just sell it and go to the other guys. You will see the difference by yourself.

Developing and releasing products isn't easy, there is tons of test to do, else people will complain... So give them time and let the Xecuter team do their work.

Sonni may be a little harsh saying Xecuter (as if it is just one person) is not a nice person but he has some valid points. Most of us are pretty "hyped" out by now waiting for the ground-breaking BIOS.. I suspect there are a lot of people who are now past caring.

And before you all start flaming me saying "F&^K Off and buy another chip" and "What the F&^k do you expect.It is free and Eecuter is a God for releasing yet another BIOS"..Think on this...

Most people are not Xbox hacking nerds, just people who want to play copied - Yes copied, not backed-up - games and there are lots of chips that will happily do this. Personally I wanted the best so I chose the X3 (Clearly it is the best on the market).
Secondly the BIOS is not as free as it appears.

It is in the interests of the company to keep their products and it's support ahead of it's competitors.. That way we all carry on buying their products, recommending their products and giving our advice and experience on forums like this. Let's face it, Executer does not need a service department or instalation help number for it's user to call... We do it for them right here, right now.. It is good, sensible and profitable marketing....And Team Xecuter are VERY good at it.

I don't like the delay's either, but their products work and has always been worth the wait. I feel like a kid who has sent off for a decoder ring, and checks the mailbox every day. Come on... CP ! Damn... I release a little sigh, and go on with life.

no its not an all in one dashboard. Not even really a dash but that's just my interpretation of a "dashboard". You still need a dashboard like evox, avalaunch, unleashx, etc to launch applications and games. only thing config live will launch is your default dash.

Why would a person that has never posted before come on the forums and start mouthing off about the bios not being released and all the other hype. Who cares about when the BIOS is released, it will be released when it's ready and mouthing off the lead developer isn't going to make it any faster.

Team Xecuter is notorious for missing deadlines. I believe Xecuter has even poked fun at this fact before. But they come out with great products that are always worth the wait. I have wondered why they don't just release a buggy bios just to appease people though.

Ya, I think that if you set a deadline, you should say it will be a date way later than when you actully expect to have it done, say febuary 15, then when you get it out by feb 5, people say "wow you pwn for getting it out so soon!!!" But, I assume bios is being held up for a good reason, and I don't really care when it comes out, as long as it's good.

shibiz, im not sure how long u have been a part of Team Xecuter but, people here tend to ask for a release date. When Xecuter gives a rough estimate of the time of release and that is passed, those same people get angry. I cant wait till the new bios comes out but u dont see me bitchn
