Why wont it eject

Have the 360USBPRO 2, hooked to my DG16D5S, the Executer shows as installed and operating correctly. I cannot get the DVD to eject when I press the button on the Pro 2. Ideas??

I have an extra DG16D5S pulled from the XBOX360. I am using this to read the XBOX DVD to the hard drive of the computer with the use of the PRO2. The only reason I am reading the XBOX360 DVD with this DVD is because it was an extra DVD I had. I thought why not use it to read the XBOX DVD title and write to the hard drive of a computer.,etc. It is not installed in the PC, just hooked up to the PRO2. I'll check the switches and see if they are set correctly. Appreciate any and all help.....tip of the hat to ya...

Unfortunately, d5s drives don't work for ripping. If you put an ltu2 pcb in it with d2s firmware on it, it would work

So the pulled D5s drive cannot be used to read the DVD through the PRO2 and onto the computer? would I have to have the D5s flashed to run the setup I have described? Pulled D5s from XBOX360, through the PRO2, onto the PC computer hard drive. Then writing the data on the PC hard drive to a Dual Layer Writer. Just to be clear , you are saying my XBOX DVD hooked to the PRO2 needs to be "flashed" to do this.....Thanks again...just trying to read the roadmap.

Got it...just from an " educational" and learning standpoint. Is there something that ltu2 pcb does that allows the reading of some " unrecoverable" sector or hidden sector? The D5S reads the contents of the DVD title, but what does the ltu2 pcb do, that a standard read of a DVD does not do. Just for my info..thanks to all.....it's a fun journey!!!

You need custom firmware to the drive that only the LTU2 can offer. As of today, there's no way to flash the stock D5S with custom firmware.
