Thats true. U didn't realize that. There is nothing you can do with stock 16d5s drive in pc.why would you even want to have a d5s drive conected to your pc anyway
Unfortunately, d5s drives don't work for ripping. If you put an ltu2 pcb in it with d2s firmware on it, it would workI have an extra DG16D5S pulled from the XBOX360. I am using this to read the XBOX DVD to the hard drive of the computer with the use of the PRO2. The only reason I am reading the XBOX360 DVD with this DVD is because it was an extra DVD I had. I thought why not use it to read the XBOX DVD title and write to the hard drive of a computer.,etc. It is not installed in the PC, just hooked up to the PRO2. I'll check the switches and see if they are set correctly. Appreciate any and all help.....tip of the hat to ya...
