Wierd stuff.............

Installed X3 and WD 160GBHD everything went smooth. Worked great for about a month then yesterday i went to turn my Box on and it reset 3 times and then started fragging.....i tried like 3 more times and it did the same thing so i let it sit for a while and then tried again and this time it worked fine. I updated the Bios to the 1957 thinking maybe that was the problem. Then today it happend again. Any suggestions on what is causeing this and how do i fix it. thanks

I had the same thing happen with another person's xbox I was modding. I thought it might of had something to do with the X-Tender mod I was adding to it; but after I removed the X-Tender it still did it. So what I did was totally removed the X3 daughter board that connects to the front control panel wiring (as this person only uses the xbox with chip enabled anyway and it is not required to work) and it has been working with no problems for several days now. I wonder if there is some glitch in the daughterboard causing this strange event. Hope it helps you.

Liteon 74 Froze now nothing. no VIA

I was in the middle of updating to 1.61 from 1.51 got dummy and backed up CFW.

Did liteon erase, I don't have VIA drivers, nForce chipset I have used this machine to flash before. Turned drive off and on and computer froze.

Won't respond to any eject commands from CK. Am i screwed? It feels like what happened before when we had to do the CoFree fix.

Need advice as to where to go from here.

EDIT: Nevermind guys I was able to use CoFree's old method with the newer stuff and get it back up and running again. Thanks again for covering my butt CoFree. Also thanks to everyone else who works on the firmwares. <3

If it happens next time - just powercycle the drive and press intro. (on the port you know it is on)
It doesnt show initially as you have erased the fw
