I have been planning on ordering my first chip today. I was going to order the X3 for my v1.1 xbox. And last night I noticed TeamXecuter announced a new X3CE Hardware. Should I wait for it or should I go ahead and just get the X3?

Perfect timing....Im ordering right now....yeah i figured i would just order the X3, because i noticed that was the only change in the 2.6CE and it will probably have to do with v1.6(b) xboxs and mines v1.1.....thanks.....Happy new year everybody!

getting a new xbox is the only way to get back on LIVE

Granted getting a new xbox is the EASIEST way to go back on Live, it is not the only option. If you go on eBay and buy a BROKEN Xbox the is NOT banned, you can unban your good one by swapping the unique identifier on the old one to your good one. The problem is making sure you buy unbanned xBoxes.

correction, these xboxes CANNOT be broken

because they have to work in order for you to get the "unique identifier," the keyvault, from it

that entails JTAGing the xbox

its not worth it
