will it screw up my xbox?

I have a Samsung dvd drive and was wondering if I tried to install the evox dash on a Memorex DVD-RW or a Digital Audio CD-R would it screw up my xbox? and if not which one would be better?

I dont really think it would screw anything up, just install the EvoX app/dash to your HDD via FTP?

I think he's asking if the dashboard install would get screwed up if he used media that the DVD drive didn't like. Generally, if the drive recognizes the media, there won't be a problem. HOWEVER, I have seen 3 cases with Thompson drives where this wasn't the case. I tried installing Evox with Slayer's burned to a DVD+R. Even though the drives read the discs, the installs were corrupted. I had to re-install them with DVD-R discs. A general sign that something isn't installing correctly is a long installation time. If it takes Slayer's more than 5-10 minutes to install the dashboard and apps, something may be wrong.

Oh ok, well that makes sense... I can see how an installation would get corrupt, but it wouldn't screw up your xbox.
