will the X2 programmer work for X3?

I've totally messed my X3 chip up. I installed a bad bios on the first two banks because I didn't realize it was bad. Then I installed a working bios on one bank but I then opened the Xbox back up because I have the Xecuter front panel (which is cool) and I couldn't figure out how to hook up the USB ports at first. I figured that out (they plug into the game controller port) and then took off the mod to make sure everything was hooked up right because I couldn't get it to read a dashboard boot disc. Anyway, when I put it back together it would not boot with any combination of banks selected.

If I get the X2 programmer will it allow me to reprogram the X3 directly? Or is it incompatible? Please help.

No, at present the X2 programmer doesn't work with the X3 chip.

It sounds like something isn't connected if you managed to flash successfully and it doesn't work now.

If all else fails, try the backup BIOS - press the power and eject buttons at the same time.
