It's JTAGable... you do know that right? Use 5770 Falcon files and JTAG it like normal.
when you say use the falcon 5770 files does that include using the xbr falcon files or do i use the xbr zephyr 8955_3b files? sorry for the question but im trying to follow the jtag tut in the jtag section and it doesnt mention about using falcon files on a zephyr.

Just dump the NAND's 1st 50 blocks, flash Xellous to the console and wire it with standard SMC wiring. You onlt need the CPU key so you can flash back the fist 50 blocks afterwards.

nandpro usb: -r16 nand.bin 0 50

Thanks for all your help so far martin, i have wrote xellous to my console using those setting you gave me and i get a single red light on the bottom right hand corner of my light panel and the tv screen doesnt light up. i have tried to boot up the xbox by using both the eject button and the power button. i have reflashed my original nand back onto the console and it boots fine, could you please shed some light on what i am doing wrong. P.S i have had to use the alternate DB1F1 contact point as shown in this thread for my jtag wiring point green wire http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55120&highlight=DB1F1
Thanks again for any help guys.

I think for some of us the Zephyr wins, they just won't Glitch for some reason.

Not sure - you'll need to post pics of what wiring config you used. Did you change any settings in JTAG Tool?

Hi again all sorry i havent replied earlier i was at work. Below are some pictures i have taken of my solder point i have used for the jtag part of the process, as i stated on my previous post i have followed the tut in the link. i have just reflashed with my original nand and it booted fine and when i flashed it again (this time with xell ) i still get no tv image and RROD errors, i guess i would never do this for a living lol.

You're not understanding me. Why have you soldered that yellow wire to that part of the board?
I was trying to pick up on an alternative DB1F1 point to solder too as the original point has burnt off on the top of the board, (it was already missing when i had it. i was following the tutorial in this link. http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showt...ighlight=DB1F1.
do you know of any alternative places i can pick up that feed from? i feel like im barking up the wrong tree with this console as its the first jtag i have attempted. Thanks for helping mate

That point you've soldered to is NOT an alt for DB1F1. If it were that big, people wouldn't be going for Tray_open.

This is the alt Db1F1.

If you can't solder to that after messing up DB1F1, stop.
