will x3 3095 work on my 1.5 xbox

my friend says they will only work on a 1.1 but most guides say the 1.6 is the only exception for different bios

You're now talking about 1.1 and 1.6

Which is it?

Besides, in each X3 BIOS download there are two BIN files - one for 1.0-1.5 Xboxes and one for 1.6(b) Xboxes.

forget it but do you really have to add a 100mb file to the cd when your burning bios like the guide says http://home.comcast.net/~x3guide/Old/index.html

What do you mean, "forget it?"

If you've found the answer now you're decided to read up on it, then say so!

If you're making a BIOS CD-RW, then yes - get any file over 50MB and when making the CD-RW, rename it to 1dummy.bin.

also would the disk just ejeck without it cause thats what mine did

Well the Xbox can have problems reading the first file on the disk, so by filling the first few hundred sectors, you give your BIOS file a fighting chance!

ok well i finnaly just gave up and network flashed it and then burned evox onto a disk and installed the dashboard.
