yes u can just make sure you mark it correclty so u dont screw up. and u should use a pencil tip

I use a 15W soldering iron with a very fine tip. I find the point in the chip then apply soldering iron. I hold it down for a few seconds then lift. Repeat until you hear the beep in jungleflasher.

I would not recommend using a soldering iron.. first winbond i did, i used soldering iron, with fine tip, and screwed the drive. Had to replace pcb. Then i got the maximus template, with the hand drill and have done every drive successfully and unlocked in under a minute . I just replace the dull 1mm bit every couple drives.

Box cutter is also good to use!!!

done loads now with a box cutter... 100% success rate....

just make sure you mark it correctly and TAKE YOUR TIME!!!
