Never say never. While it will probably never be glitched, doesnt mean that someone in the distant future wont find another flaw in the hardware design, to get it to run unsigned code. lol.
as far as that goes sure, but the fact that not many people are even interested in it anymore to find anything might be the nail in the coffin on that one.

You basically need to remove the CPU and replace it with the right type that has zero-fuses burned, you can see these two topics for more info, but its beyond the scope of normal modders, and has only been done one half-successful by 15432 and this was back in April 2016, nothing new since then has been found useful.

Modrobert report on it: http://www.eurasia.nu/modules.php?op=modload&name=Forums&file=viewtopic&topic=7429&forum=86

in a few words - Winchester CPU with clean fuses, just from factory, has enabled POST bus ans seems to be glitchable.

Retail Winch disables POST bus right after start.
maybe it's possible to bypass the POST disabling with glitch, but then xbox will have to be hard-rebooted (power cycle, not just restart) on each unsuccessfull glitch

sooo if somebody wants the winch freeboot, he has to

 • find zero-fused CPU
 • develop RGH for it, dump 1BL
 • research 1BL, make the fuses check bypass
 • port the method to retail winch and make a good solution.

+ it's just my assumptions. may be not true

++ that's true I was waiting for a fool day to publish it. I have info, but that may be not all the truth. for example, CPU from the video with enabled post bus could be special dev edition.

15432 never really got much recognition for his input into the scene, I know he put a few noses out of joint with some of his findings and freely releasing publicly but the modding scene back when xboxhacker was around it wasn't about making money but sharing information and findings. that was the problem when teams started fighting/falling out over their $£ percent of the market to make money/profit.
