X360USB PRO windows 7 cannot detect at all

hello guys, i bought the xbox 360 usb pro, and i'm trying to flash my drive. however, windows 7 is unable to detect and even install xbox 360 usb pro. can any of you guys help me? thanks..

yes, there is leds' on the device and yes i use external 12 molex power supply.. do you think that it's faulty? i tried the device with my friends laptop and nothing came up..

i'll tell you the details. when i changed usb ports, the device will have a very dim green led blink and red and green led will turn on after i push the reset button.. and it heats up quite quick too..

Molex has zero to do with the functionality of the usbpro it doesnt even plug into it at all. Make sure you have the drivers installed. Windows 7 will install some but the rest need to be manually installed.

can you explain a bit more. i tried connecting the usb pro into my pc usb with all combinations (usb pro only, usb pro + ck3 pro + molex, usb pro + sata) i just could not get it to work. i tried to install it manually, but no xbox30 usb pro device was there..
