Hi

This is my first post ever. Thank you for understanding if I don't do things correctly. I have been reading many threads and searching the web for the last week or so about my problem but without success. Here is my situation. I have bought a x360usb pro v2, a Ck3 probe probe III for liteon, a Molex external power supply? And of course a liteon drive. My understanding of the x360usb pro feature was that it would take any stock drive and making them a ripping drive. But when I connect everything Windows 7 it did not detect the drive.

The next thing I did was that I open jf and I think that I was able to change the firmware to 0800. But when i try to eject the drive i doesn't work. And of course if I open xbc backup creator it is not showing up either.

As a last resort I took my drive from my console which has been flashed with LT+ 3.0 firmware. It is also a liteon drive and windows did detect the drive so did jf and xbc. So I am very confuse any help or guidance will be much appreciated.

Thank you

Try to power on your drive from Xbox. Maybe the CK3 doesn't work.
Did you update the hardware configuration in the Device Manager?

But this is exactly what I want to do. I only want to use that drive to rip games. Did I flash the drive correctly?

Sorry, I did not understand the question first time.

So, try to use another power source and update the hardware configuration in the device manager

The fact that is is reporting a real drive key at the end says you have not written the 0800 firmware, are you sure you have a v2 usb pro, if so you do not have to write the 0800 firmware you just add your drive key into xbc. Also set your jungle flasher to usb only detection to make life easier.

I am 100% sure that iv'e bought and received a usbpro2. I did insert the dvd keys in xbc. and i did set jf to usb only. Since Windowws is trying constantly to detect the drive. xbx won't start. what did i do wrong for not writting 0800 firmware?

Yes the drive is powered in the console but it still won't eject?
Check the drive status in the JungleFlasher. If it's 0x52 - MPX01 is damaged, 0x80 means the drive isn't correctly flashed, 0x7f means drive is damaged.
If the drive has 0x51 status, check the power wires

Flash drive to iXtreme 1.6. If the tray won't open, search for hardware issue.
iXtreme 1.6 allow dump of original disks (but it has no XGD3 support)
