Hi

Prepare to facepalm...

I have a falcon that I think is beyond recovery but would like to hear it confirmed from those that so obviously know far more than I.

Here is my sorry story - Installed Nand-X which was fine (done a few before and am experienced soldering). Dumped nand, now the nightmare part. I decided it would be a good idea to follow the guide I had used before to the letter and updated my dash to latest  Yes, I had a massive brain fart but thats not the worst of it.

I then installed the CR, that also went fine. Now I get confused as to the order I did things in but to sum up I now only have a nand.bin (5771) from pre updating my dash and have overwritten the nand with the old nand.bin.

So, I have no CPU key and I dont see a way of getting it, using the old nand dump just RROD 0022. Im assuming thats because my LDV value is wrong. And I cant change the nand.bin LDV as I dont have my CPU key.

I cant see a way out but if someone else can I would be very grateful to you.

And failing that at least you all get a good laugh

RGH2 your xbox. you will need to use a donor falcon .ecc, but that shouldn't be too hard to find.

from there, you can easily get your CPU Key and LDV, then use them to generate a correct, new NAND to flash to the xbox for your dash.

Hey Joe,

Thanks for replying so fast :)

I was under the impression that it needed to be the correct CPU key, if what you say is correct then thanks! :)

I will wait in hope of finding a suitable donor.

if i was at home, i could throw you a 5773 falcon .ecc (as 5773 is what your falcon would have been upgraded to from 5771), but i'm afk for a couple days

after you get your CPUkey and LDV (from Xell) you will be able to create a nand of any type (stock or glitch) using JRunner (when it gets updated)

Joe, you sir are a true gent.

I might take you up on that if I dont find one in the meantime, not even sure where to look.

Oh, forgot to mention, already RGH2.0 the falcon. And yes, I am sure that its 5773 I need.

try this if it works thanks go to Axell for the link check this out first if you hesitant
http://www.team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82365 the link to the donor Nand is in the thread second post
Hi L2000,

Thanks for the link. I had already found this one, unfortunately its a 5772 nand. I tried it anyway without luck.

I still think Im pretty screwed, unless I can get a donor that has the same LDV values as I need (8).

Oh well, better scratch this one up to experience, been a while since I totally borked a hack so I guess Im due

It's perfectly salvageable. XeLL doesn't care about LDV.

If you want it fixed, send it on to me.
Hi Martin, thats pretty much what I wanted to hear. If you say its salvageable then I am now a believer

Although my recent cockup suggests otherwise I am pretty good at figuring this stuff out myself, I just had got to a point where I believed I had no more options. If they are out there I will find them.

And if I fail miserably I will indeed be posting my poor xbox up to sunny Scotland  If it gets to that stage I will ping you a PM and discuss costs (haggle  )

Thanks all for your help.

Yup, got the 5771 nand dump which I am sure as I can be is perfect. No bad blocks, multiple dumps all identical.

Shame Im busy rest of the day, would love to get this cracked. Will post back when its sorted (fingers crossed).

A 14719 ECC file written to your NAND should be enough to get it to glitch with RGH2.0 wiring etc.
exactly what i said!

and to resay what martin c said, LDV doesn't matter with .ecc and Xell

so you just need to find a 14719 5773 falcon nand dump, then use that to create an .ecc

or just have someone throw you one

if your RGH2 wiring is good, then you should get Xell, LDV, CPUkey, etc
