Wireless adapter triggered E71 error

I bought a Datel wireless adapter for my 360 and after plugging it in and restarting the xbox for whatever reason I started getting the E71 error.

I'm running DL 2.32 and FSD 2.2 on this box.

I unplugged the wireless adapter and tried to reboot, still E71. Once I booted with my DL/FSD USB stick plugged in to the front of the 360 however, everything booted fine. This points towards some sort of system file corruption in Flash or the internal HDD or something I bet. Also, unplugging my external USB hard drive where I store all my games and XBLA caused the E71 to go away as well.

What happened to cause this and what do I do to fix it?

"Hey man did you ever Sort this Out ? I was just having this problem After trying to flash the new freeboot and It not working So I flashed back to my Old freeboot And Had this same problem Xbox Would start Sweet as with no external But with a external Pluged in it would error e71 Just after the xbox logo shows up. So I had A look At what was diffrent On my Hdd Since the reflash Because it was fine before And what I found was A stray Default.xex File in the root Of my external (From Trying the update to get Avatar and kenect stuff on new dash To see if it would get it to boot It didnt ) Any way I deleted the Default.xex from the root of the external And booted Fine No more E71 Hope this Helps *UPDATE* The xex was definatly the problem "
