wireless connection with flashed drive

Hi i am going to get a wireless connection for my xbox360 ,so i can stream movies,the xbox360 as been flashed,iwant to know if it will automaticly give my xbox360 the latest updates,so i will get the latest media updates and will this effect my flashed drive,i do not want to use the 360 for live only streaming,thanks in advance.

The firmware flash has nothing to do with streaming movies from you pc and will not affect the situation
