Wireless controlers

Hi all,

Does anyone have any experience of using a wireless controller in another room than the xbox is in,

I got a video sender recently (£20 from toys-r-us), which sends the signal from whatever av source to my room directly above my front room, where my xbox is. Can anyone recomend a wireless controller that i will be able to use upstairs, whilst leaving my xbox downstairs.

Cheers,

Bill

A friend of mine has the logitech wireless controller that he uses to reset his xbox and do whatnot in config live. It works fine. Not sure how well it would work for game play though.

I've got the logitech wireless controller & although the shape of the controller takes a bit of getting used to, it works a treat.

Quoted specs are something like 10m range & 100hrs battery life from 2 AA's (50hr if rumble turned on).

I've tested the range by controlling MP3 playback in XBMC from both bedrooms in my house without any problems - XBOX is located in living room.

Only downside with controller is that the D pad isn't too hot compared to the controller s - It floats above the controller slightly. Also, when the batteries start to go, control using the D pad is sometimes strangely interpretted as trigger movement!
