My wireless works perfect on live. But ftp transfers are slow ,(50 kbps) and sometimes drops to zero. When i use cat5 cables with my wrt-54gs router it goes 8mbps ,but when i go wireless it quickly decreases from about 300kbps to zero and then timeouts.

I disabled p2p on my router and updated the dhcp table. Im running on XBMC and Avalaunch and both dont help either. Its a real Pain in the ass.

Any ideas?

Thanks, ive been trying to figure it out forever.

Something I have noticed using my laptop to xfer files (which is wireless) to my xbox (which is wired) is the crappy speeds as well. I think it is a problem with wireless as even xfering files to my server goes slow unless I plug in the cat5 to my laptop.

As for a fix. I don't have one yet so I do apologize.

Yea its a wireless thing... I can get as little as 2Mbps on a 54Mbps wirless connection from PC to Xbox...

FTP on AVA can go up to 11Mbps but I really havent experienced that at all even using Quix.
