RGH Wondering if friend destroyed xbox, any solutions?n

My friend and I have a problem, (mainly my friend cause it's not mine lol). We have installed mod chips a long time ago on ps2 and the original xbox. but when I first heard about jtag/rgh I stayed away from it simply because they were out of my league for the tiny solder points and the fact that my hands are not as steady as they used to be. My friend tried to install the demon last week and failed. I took the xbox apart for him, and when I put it back together the xbox starts and the red dot of death is on. Power supply has green light. Points on the board are obviously burnt. I'm wondering if I have to trash this xbox or maybe there's a way to fix or send to someone who can. We shared this Xbox at our house so it's kind of mine too. I don't want to buy a new one.

You can link images uploaded to other sites if you like. Create an imgur album for example.
