I recently purchased an x3 chip, installed it correctly flashed the bios with 1959. I installed a 40gig drive. I loaded EvoX, dvd2xbox, and avalaunch. My origanal xbox hdd was lost so I borrowed my friends stock drive to grab the xbox dash but when I connect his drive it won't boot to x3 live, I thought there maybe something wrong with his drive so I diconnected it and still nothing. I thought the x3 would boot up to the 1959 even without a hdd? am I wrong? What Gives?

Another one of my RIGS!! CamaroBox360!!!
Here is my new camarobox360 based on the new 2010 Camaro. I love this car and someday I will have one. In the meantime I'll just enjoy looking at my rig ;o) The faceplate is third party hence the nasty transparent ir port but that will be taken care of soon. Has the SATA mod done to it too. I used the duplicolor paint shop lacquer system with metallic clears and new lvlp (low volume/low pressure) gun. I think it turned out pretty good. Controller to match is coming soon!! Hope you enjoy it guys!!

doing the mod this way only requires the use of 1 of those sata bridge/extension cables and it is completely hidden

I used that Duplicolor Paint Shop System for cars it's probably not all that good but for these types of projects is killer. You just have to use a good adhesion promoter. For the racing stripes, lettering and the large chevrolet logo I used vinyl paint mask and cut them out with my plotter. Thanks for the feedback guys!!

well what adhesion promoter did you use because this will be perfect for the custom cases i do for people.
i bet it will make things fast with painting. im tired of using spraypaint! >.<

Try to get your hands on some bulldog adhesion promoter its the best imo. Duplicolor's adhesion promoter works well too but if you spray too much of it on it turns spotty and it sometimes shows through your paint.
