wont download

didnt know where to post this so sorry if its in the wrong place.
I've lost my disk with X2 Bios Manager v2.3 on so i tried to download
it from the download section again but i keep getting a realy big
script when the page opens. is there some thing wrong with the
site or is it my pc.

(assuming Windows here) Right click the link to the download file and select "save as." Likely problem is that your browser doesn't understand what a .rar file is (I know mine doesn't) and will try and display the file contents in the window. This appears as just a bunch of random characters. Once you've saved the .rar file to your computer you can then open the archive with the RAR application of your choice. Frequently recommended is WinRAR, personally I like Zip Genius.

done that m8 and it saves as a link. (save target as not save as). tried it on works
computer today and thats the same. searched all other x-box sites and this is the only
one that has 2.3 and i use evo-x m8+ so i'mm well and truly stuck.
thanks for the reply and help whoopin. any other ideas

There seems to be a glitch on the page.

Do this - right click and choose save as.

It will change the filename to .html. Rename to .rar.

This should now work. I've just tried it myself!

D'oh, that's right. If you change the "save as type" from HTML doc to all files you can then set the .rar extension. Otherwise Windows will force .html on the end. Wonderful little helpers they built in, no?
