Ive got one here doing my box in, 2006 Xenon with Sammy MS28 flashed with LT2.01 will play everything exept XGD3 backups. Tried Laser, drive, another drive, reflash but nothing works, Any ideas?

Yep, proper ones. Works on every console Ive tried apart from this one. Originals are fine. Just comes up, disc unreadable
what media are you using and what settings have you got activated for the burn opc on etc also are the discs verifying ok

Verbs, OPC set etc etc,. he games are fine, they work on every console I have tried them on

Can you confirm all the consoles tested are LT 3.0 if they are not Samsung (or Hitachi) drives like yoru one.

Can you post the Kprobe2 results of one of the discs for analysis?

Latest dash. Just going to reburn MW3 and try it again. Just ran it through ABGX

I fitted a new laser, It didn't work so I fitted another sammy, exactly the same problem. Clutched at straws and tried an Hitachi, still the same problem

Given all the changes you have made I can only think it is the disc, the sammy/hitachi is a bit more picky about the XGD3 media, this may be because the drive is older or just not manufactured as well as the Lite-on and Benq drives.
I'm guessing you brought the laser/drive from one of the trusted re-sellers of Tx products recommended and not flea bay of amazon that knowing sell "re-furmished" equipment as new.
What media you are burning to, MKM001 or MKM003? We need to see the Kprobe2 results to see the quality of the Burn.

I have my own supplier for lasers, they are new and never had a problem with the last 150 I have bought. The discs are 003 verbs I will get the kprobe details once this disc has finished burning

I have known a corrupt firmware to be responsible for instances similar to these in the past.
It might be worth re-downloading the latest firmware pack and version of Jungle flasher while at it and attempting another re-flash.
I know you said you tried a re-flash but you didn't mention if you tried a re-downloaded pack.

hi i had same problem i simply removed drive cleaned lazer although it looked good any ways and then pot tweaked it. it had a voltage of 5.46v and i used 3.4 v as my standard it now works great on verb backups. also just cause its anew lazer doesent mean you shouldent check the voltages on it befor fitting ive had a few that are to high when measureing the pot so try it it might help.

Thats a good burn so I suggest re-downloading the firmware pack and then a re-flashing the drive.

Im pretty sure that you have an spoofed drive..
try an AP2.5 game that is not XGD3 (COD Black ops, Assassins Creed Brotherhood)
if any of those games does not work.. u have an spoofed drive..
