It isnt my original drive (i believed it is spoofed).

how many times spoofing drives is nolonger supported:facepalm:
you will need to know what your original drive was, and flash the correct fw to that.

The games boot fine on my other console (liteon drive).
will i be able to boot XGD3 games on the console with the smasung drive or not?

Just flashed lt+ 2.0 to my brothers phat 360 with a Samsung MS28 and that plays XGD3 games fine. The games are not burned properly or the 360 has not got the right drive installed.

Yes, Lt2.0 for samsung's is for XGD3, Try reflashing LT2.0 again, Maybe it didn't flash properly, Do Non-XGD3 Backups work? or your originals?, If they don't work then it's a problem with the flash, Make sure your dvd key is right

Non XGD3 work just fine, also my originals.
im 100% its not a problem with the media / flash because i am able to install the game to my HDD, but when i press "play" its gets into a black scrin but then i get the "Unreadable disc" erorr.
I have checked this thing around the net and i found out there is a problem with spoofed drives.

The drive cannot be spoofed because you said it was originally a samsumg, Do what Warhawk1995 said, Manually load your dummy.bin or OFW, And manually load LT-sammy-v2.0.bin, Spoof source to target, Get drive in vendor mode and write
