Won't read sata card????

OK, I have a via 6421 sata card and it's installed correctly. I have a samsung ms25 drive. When I try to flash the drive. I put in samread 1234567 12345 and it says directory already exists and etc. but when it says drive scanned: I have only 2 options: 1.IDE Sec Master and 2: IDE Sec Slave. I don't have the IDE Sata Card option. What am I doing wrong. I've been trying to flash this for a month now and no hope. Thanks.

1. make sure you have the latest drivers for your VIA SATA card

2. Check in your system bios that SATA is enabled and not on auto

hey man i was having probs with this card. try switching sata ports or pluging the drive in different ports check the card is not to tight or loose in the pci slot. try turing the xbox box on at diferent points as its loading. swap pci slots
good way to tell if its working with ur card/box is use another hard drive/ cd drive and plug it into ur card 6421 and refresh the vai raid utility if it detects u no that its all good & u can flash
if al else fails instal on a different pc the older ones with out any other sata inputs, motherboard to hard drive sata. just the old 1s with ide cables seem to work a treat.

failing this send the card back and try adifferent 1 the 6421vai raid card seems to be a bit of a doggy card.
