ANSWERED Won't update with status code 3151

A couple of weeks ago I tried playing a friends back up of rugby world cup 2011 It tried updating my xbox but failed and now I can't get it working.
I just get status code 3151-335a-b800-0f00-c000-0013
I've tried reflashing to every benq stock availble but can't get it to update with the disc or through the update on ms website using flashdrive.

I'm no expert when it comes to this.
I've searched google for similar problems but none of the solutions seem to work for me.

Anyone have any ideas how I can sort my xbox out?

I don't know what the dash is. Is there a way to find out even though my xbox is pretty much a brick at the minute?

So I managed to do the dash with a usb update to 13146.
The xbox comes on ok now and will play dvds but won't play my back ups.
Any ideas?

13146 reflashes the drive to stock. you now have to reflash it to the latest firmware. Be sure to update it the rest of the way to the latest dash first.

I updated to latest dash then updated to lt2 but it still won't play the games

you use the right drive key

I think its the right key, I have a disc with my original fw key on so revert to that and update.
Can't get it playing games though

You have to update from stock firmware with the correct drive key.
