work on 1.6b x-box or not?

Recent problem on some of my games.
I'm calling it the No sound error. I think its because the computer was lagging and the buffer wasnt full when i was burning the games but so far Alan Wake and Blur have both gone into some sort of weird no sound lag! well sometimes. And then i tryed blur agen and it said play dvd. so maybe it was my disc burning but has any1 else had this problem?

I get this problem a lot on my sammy running 1.61...but it's always done it. It usually only happens to me when I'm running any other media besides Verbatims. Sometimes the drive doesn't even sound like it's spinning the disc but plays just fine...

Yea, ive only used Verbatim tho, its a Lite-on Lt (MRA). It happened on my old xbox as well and my friends so i think its just the burn, i get the buffers deplete a lot in some of the burns.
